Will PEPB remove trees near primary power lines?

Yes, at the discretion of PEPB, we will take down any tree that is within 25 feet of a primary line.

Will PEPB remove trees near secondary power lines?

What happens when a tree is cut on a customer’s property?

If PEPB removes a tree for a customer in a power line area, then the customer will be given an option of having PEPB grind out the stump OR replace the    tree with an ornamental tree within 25 feet from the power line.

How much is an electric deposit?

The deposit is based on the two highest consecutive bills over the past two years at that location. The minimum deposit is $250.

What are your office hours?

Office hours are 7:00-4:30 M-F

When will I be disconnected?

A disconnect will happen ten days after the bill is come due. If your bill is due on the 20th, then disconnect will be at 7:30AM on the 30th if it remains unpaid.

Is there a fee for credit card payments?

There is no fee for paying your bill in person, over the phone, or online with a credit card.

Do you offer bank draft services?

Yes, we can set up a bank draft from your checking account. Simply bring a voided check into our office.

Do you offer paperless billing?

Yes, you can sign up for paperless billing here.

Do you provide internet service?

Yes, we have a high speed fiber internet service available to commercial customers only.

What if my street light is out?

Call our office at 270-365-2031 and provide us with the pole number.
